New! Announcing AASCIF's Partnership With Cartasite

AASCIF member organizations have another way to increase driver safety and reduce motor vehicle accidents. A new partnership agreement with Cartasite, a Colorado-based fleet telematics company, provides any AASCIF organization with the opportunity to offer their policyholders special pricing that is approximately 50% less than what any AASCIF member could likely obtain on their own. The new partnership agreement is possible because of the potential collective purchasing power of AASCIF.

Cartasite was selected by the AASCIF Safety and Technology Committee after a competitive review of several fleet telematics solutions. The goal is to address motor vehicle accidents, the leading cause of policyholder fatalities for most AASCIF members. Cartasite is a global leader in driver-safety-focused fleet management solutions, and according to its statistics, companies using Cartasite’s technology have seen as much as a 90% annual reduction in motor vehicle incidents.

This fleet telematics solution focuses primarily on the leading indicators exhibited by driver behaviors, such as hard braking, excessive speed, and rapid acceleration. By providing drivers with consistent feedback about their performance through a leading indicator scorecard, drivers can make safer choices—leading to reductions in accidents, increased efficiency, and a stronger culture of safety within any organization.

Texas Mutual has been using Cartasite for its fleet for more than two years. "Texas Mutual's experience with Cartasite has been very positive,” said Rich Gergasko, president and CEO of Texas Mutual Insurance Company. “Not only are our preventable driving accidents down, but employees are making better choices about driving behavior. We believe that having this data in the hands of our employees helps them understand the changes they need to make in their driving behavior."

Participating AASCIF organizations will have access to driver performance data from their own policyholders that purchase this special AASCIF fleet telematics solution from Cartasite. To obtain this special pricing, policyholders need to authorize Cartasite to share driver data with AASCIF. This data will enable individual AASCIF members to analyze driver behavior trends by industry type, class code, geographical region, and other available data fields. AASCIF is also working with Cartasite on a solution to aggregate non-personally identifiable data from all participating AASCIF policyholders to enable broader analysis and data comparisons across North America.

In addition to the driver safety program, Cartasite and AASCIF have also agreed to make available additional solutions for Electronic Logging Device (ELD) compliance, vehicle tracking and maintenance management, asset tracking, and remote worker safety monitoring if members are interested.

AASCIF members who are interested in this opportunity can learn more at https://cartasite.com/aascif or contact Cartasite directly at sales@cartsite.com to discuss a customized solution for your organization.
