Extend your summer, meet your peers and learn, learn, learn by attending the AASCIF Safety and Health Committee’s workshop Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 at the beautiful Longboat Key Club in Sarasota, Fla.

The theme of this year’s workshop is “Safety: It’s Good Business.” Hear from Office of Outreach Services and Alliances Director Lee Ann Jillings, U.S. Department of Labor, about OSHA alliances and how they relate to AASCIF, your fund and your policyholders. Explore youth safety issues with Erin Roulston, associate vice president, Ipsos-Reid. Roulston will present an overview of the Association of Worker’s Compensation Boards of Canada’s recent Youth Forum Study.

Other topics: mold, SARS and other diseases in the workplace, safety return on investment, and innovative loss prevention delivery and evaluation systems.

For more information and to register, to go the Upcoming Events page at AASCIF’s website www.aascif.org. Or contact Dave Cookson at dcookson@beaconmutual.com or (401) 825-2728.
